These seemingly unrelated “R” words, reflections and rodeos, have both been topics on my mind recently.  As the days begin to shorten and the nights are cooling, it seems natural for us to reflect upon these changes and what they mean.  This might include recalling your recent summer adventures, or get-togethers with friends and family, or even pondering what’s around the corner, ie. kids off to school, or studying a new course or even starting a new job.  I have been reflecting on the last four years since about the time when I first became an indie-author, and self-published my first puzzle book “Pic-a-Pix the Latest Puzzling Fix“.  It has been an exciting time of growth in my life, and I can only hope this ride continues.

What does this have to do with rodeos?  Well, the rodeo season is starting to wrap things up for the summer, and in fact this past weekend, many cowboys were competing locally.  You probably know that I am a big fan, and this is what influenced me in choosing this month’s challenging puzzle, called “Eight Seconds“.  Of note, this picapix puzzle graces the cover of my first book.  I hope you enjoy it!
