“Picapix Puzzles for Beginners” is my latest collection of puzzles, and the print copies have finally arrived! Just like Spring, which has kind of arrived already too. Both of which make me happy! My newest book is the perfect introduction to picapix puzzles for children, seniors, basically all ages for that matter. But in this newsletter I want to highlight some of the benefits for children. Young children have hopefully been enhancing their problem-solving skills and socialization with jigsaw puzzles since about the age of 2 years. Around the age of 8 years is a good time to introduce them to logic puzzles, such as picapix.
Think of the creative freedom they will enjoy as they start to visualize the image in the puzzle.
Think of the strategy building skills they will develop as they use number logic to solve it.
Think of the improved concentration they will acquire as they focus on each individual puzzle and it’s unique set of clues.
Think of the reduced boredom they will experience as they lose track of time while so absorbed in solving the puzzle.
Think of the hand-eye coordination they will gain with the relationship of what their eyes see and what their hands will create with simple coloring.
These are only a few of the many benefits children will gain from working logic picapix puzzles. If you have a special young person in your life, now is better than later to introduce them. For further information on solving them, visit my website at LearnPicapix.com .
The challenging puzzle of the month is “Line of March” . Enjoy!
