Print Ready Puzzle E-Book

Printable Puzzle E-Book?

I have been busy this month preparing my first puzzle e-book.  It will be ready soon, but in the meantime I would love your opinion.  What are your thoughts on this project?  Would you as a puzzle fan be willing to print your own puzzle book on regular letter-size paper?  You would need to supply the paper and ink to print, but generally the price tag of an e-book is a fraction of the cost of traditional books.  There won’t be the nice glossy cover or the user-friendly coiled binding either.  What would be a fair price to pay to purchase one?  E-books have been taking the reading population to a whole new level of kindle technology, but I also know that many still enjoy the traditional hard cover books, with that wonderful bookish smell and all!  I have done some research and there are already Sudoku e-books available.  Please send me your thoughts and opinion via email to:  info@learnpicapix.com

It’s already the end of June and for a lot of us, this is the time of year our kids are finishing up their school year.  And those of you mostly in the rural areas are quite familiar with the old traditional yellow school bus.  My Dad drove one for many years, so there are sentimental feelings with them.  This month’s free challenging puzzle is called Old Yellow.  I hope you will enjoy it!  Have a nice summer as well!

Sincerely,

Diane Baher

How to Play

Where do I start? Begin by choosing two color pencil crayons, erasable ones are best, and designate the darker shade for the puzzle picture. The lighter shade is basically going to be the background and is still very important to solving the puzzle. Starting with an empty grid, and numbers at the top of columns and left end of rows, you work your way through the puzzle by doing what is most logical or obvious, i.e. the biggest numbers.
